5 Things We’re Thankful for at Saltwater Cowboys
It’s hard not to be grateful when you’ve got our view every day, but can you blame us? There’s more to the good life at Saltwater Cowboys than we could ever fit on a list… so today we’re sharing our Top Five. From sunsets to seafood and the amazing people who make it all happen, we’re taking a moment to count our creekside blessings.
1. Sunsets on the Creek
There’s just something about a Shem Creek sunset. The boats, the glow on the water, the dolphins popping up to say hello — it never gets old. Every evening reminds us how lucky we are to call this spot home and to share it with the locals and visitors who stop by to take it all in.
2. Classic Southern Flavors
We’re grateful for the flavors that make the Lowcountry feel like home — slow-smoked barbecue, crispy fried seafood, creamy grits and all the comfort food you can handle. And now, thanks to The Wagon, anyone can enjoy those favorites in every beautiful spot and secret scenic hangout. (Just make sure you clean up after!) From family dinners to boat picnics, our to-go kitchen keeps the good stuff rollin’.
3. Our SWC Crew
Every great meal starts with great people. No one knows that better than Shem Creek patrons! From the kitchen to the waterfront bar to the friendly faces greeting you at the door, our crew is the heart of Saltwater Cowboys. They work hard, play hard and make sure every guest feels like part of the family, whether you’re a first-time out-of-towner or a local regular. We couldn’t do it without them, and we really wouldn’t want to.
4. Our CreeK Community
Shem Creek is more than the most beautiful place in Charleston (we promise we’re not biased!). It’s our home, and we’re thankful for every person and every pup who helps keep this place buzzing. Your support means the world to us, and it’s what keeps us fired up to do what we love every single day.
5. Every Creekside Memory
At the end of the day, we’re most thankful for the memories — the birthdays, the weddings, the post-tennis lunches and the just-because nights out. We’re grateful for our history, which has helped shape who we are. To us, Saltwater Cowboys is more than a Shem Creek restaurant; it’s a hub for life. And every moment spent here reminds us why we love what we do.
