Our Event Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving private event revenue while delivering an experience that feels unmistakably Saltwater Cowboys. This role owns the full lifecycle of event sales, from the first inquiry to the final toast, ensuring every guest feels taken care of and that every event reflects our brand with hospitality and professionalism.
In this seat, you will be accountable for:
Proactively generate and convert event leads, building a strong pipeline of corporate, social and private dining opportunities
Own the full sales process—from inquiry and tour to proposal, contract and execution—ensuring a seamless experience for every guest
Respond quickly and confidently to inquiries, creating a strong first impression that reflects our hospitality and professionalism
Conduct restaurant venue tours and client meetings that bring the Saltwater Cowboys experience to life
Develop customized event proposals, pricing and packages that align with client needs while maximizing revenue and profitability
Manage the event calendar, bookings and contracts with accuracy and attention to detail
Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team and work with the manager on duty to ensure seamless execution of all events
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear, consistent communication throughout the planning process
Anticipate client needs and solve problems before they arise—no surprises, no missed details
Track performance, including lead sources, conversion rates and revenue goals and adjust strategy accordingly
Build relationships within the local community, including businesses, event planners and partners, to drive ongoing opportunities
Partner with marketing to promote event offerings through social media, website updates and outreach initiatives
Continuously look for ways to elevate the guest experience and introduce new event concepts that align with our brand
Stay organized, accountable and focused on results—this role is about driving revenue, not just managing inquiries

Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales or restaurant private dining sales
Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets
Strong sales instincts with the ability to close business confidently and professionally
Experience managing multiple events, timelines and client relationships at once
Excellent communication skills—written, verbal and in-person
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
Ability to collaborate effectively with both front- and back-of-house teams
Familiarity with event management or CRM systems preferred
Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events

This role offers a starting base salary of $60,000, with a structured commission plan that rewards performance and provides significant earning potential.
